Does your daughter play the trumpet? Our son played the trumpet and I took on the task of caring for the uniforms for the high school marching band for the years that he was there. Fitting, repairing, ordering new ones, etc. Sewing skills help sometimes in real life...And I liked the music, especially the marches.
