Those cookies look droolingly delicious!
Man, wish I am in HK with the gals too! :)

Hi Jeanne, you asked on my blog about the yarn used for the Half-Pie shawl. I could not reply directly because of Blogger weird set-up.
Anyway, the truth is i do not know for sure. I vaguely remember Jaeger Fiesta (although fiesta might have been the color), but i can't find it listed anywhere.
I bought it from a US store away from home a couple of years ago, maybe it was discontinued.
Nice to find your blog, and thank you for the cookie recipe link!

I found your blog through the GAOL KAL. I love the purple blanket that you're knitting, what pattern is that?

I can't understand why the Typepadlist work (or don't work!) they way they do, it annoys me to death!
Bye for now :)

The pattern is the "Ostrich Plume Lace Throw" from Vogue Knitting's "Baby Blankets", the one in the "On the Go!" series (ISBN 1573890197). I'm (intentionally) using a heavier cotton yarn, so mine is coming out a much different size.
