You must have had this mug for at least 17 years! If it's the same one, and not a replacement? I'm sure you had it back in 1988 when Alison and I stayed with you on the way back from England...why do you love it so much, I've always wondered, what does it mean to you?

Helen, I sent away for this with two proofs-of-purchase and I think $5 from Land O' Lakes Butter and got two mugs. One got chipped and so I'm using it as a change holder, and this is the other one. It's a beautiful piece of graphic art -- I love the colors on it, the brown dress against the green grass, the blue sky and the butter-colored cloud. I also confess to a bit of Minnesota wistfulness -- that idealized sentiment one has for a place that one has only visited, never lived in for very long!
