Mary Lou

A person in a position of power in my workplace made a from scratch pumpkin pie for out November meeting. It was string and chewy and I asked if there wee shredded carrot in it. No. Grossest pumpkin pie ever. Maybe Gim would like it.

PS, last night I made the filling recipe again using all-pumpkin (2 cans, instead of the original recipe's 1 can pumpkin + most of 1 can of sweet potatoes). I also didn't strain it after cooking. The result is a bit "fluffier" than the usual pumpkin pie, a softer, gentler pumpkin pie, if you will. I think I like it a bit better with all-pumpkin, actually. But then I still like the "old" pumpkin pie best!
