Mary Lou

I am sorry you had this experience. I mostly sit on the other side, listening to folks opposed to affordable housing, or any sort of density, because it will bring "those people" - it is hard not to become cynical. The electeds generally listen to the loudest voices, gadfly or not. Here's hoping you get more chances to change things.

Same thing here in France...

And they ask your opinion but they have already decided how they will do things, that's only to tell "yeah, you see, we've asked people"...

I'm less and less interested by this kind of things.

We don't have a voice.

I've started to act with Avaaz, to follow their action and try to act at a whole world level, but I'm very disappointed of my country and my city. Especially the city, it's the first step you should be able to make to make your voice heard, isn't it ?

Well, I just wish to say you're not the only one.
