Julia's preschool class did cooking today -- a rather irregular thing at this school, as the facilities are limited, but everything came together today, and so the kids made pigs in a blanket. Very simple this way, just Pillsbury biscuits wrapped around half of a frankfurter, but effective. It's interesting to see the ways that different kids approach the process -- some are a little wary at first, some are completely revolted and won't touch the stuff at all, and most enter into the spirit of the thing, wrapping and pinching the dough to completely surround the frank.
